In 2010, the Winnipeg Film Group sent three Winnipeg filmmakers for an international residency at our sister organization in Germany, the Kölner Filmhaus. In May 2011, three Cologne filmmakers came to Winnipeg in turn, to produce work and to connect with the local filmmaking community.

We've been busy painting The Black Lodge over the past several weeks. First, it's been painted from top to bottom - most walls in black, but the back wall remains a blue chroma. Now, we're making white gallery walls to house Malena Szlam Salazar's Chronogram of Inexistent Time installation, which will go up in the next week, in time for its opening during WNDX.
